Called my Mum and Dad today...they are super excited...as am I.  The check list is winding down...just a few more important things to take care of...a visit to the hair dresser.....I gotta look good for the pics :-) ...and a few last min purchases...medicines etc to get refills of and I am good to go

I guess the journey real started yesterday, when finally it all came together with the arrival of my renewed New Zealand passport.  
I have been dreaming of this journey for eight years, and so each week I saved diligently, and slowly the goal became a reality.   
There have been many bumps on the road, all now behind me and insignificant in the wake of excitement :-)
As of today...... 17 days and counting.
The reason for my journey...to see my family, my Mum and Dad, and most of all...to attend the wedding of my daughter Rachael.
